Our October meeting will be held on Thursday, October 12th, at 7:00pm. See you at Third Place Commons.
A note from our esteemed co-president, Susan Schreyer:
Under our current Bylaws, we nominate in October and vote in November for taking office in January. If you are interested in being nominated (you must give permission for this) you must be a paid-up member of National Sisters in Crime and Puget Sound Sisters in Crime. To run for an office, you may nominate yourself, or ask another member to do it for you. Prospective candidates (or their nominators) should contact Susan to be put on the slate (use the form below, or contact her directly). The officers to be elected under our current bylaws are two co-presidents and a secretary treasurer. Currently Susan Schreyer and Joe Massucco are the Co-Presidents, and Nan Robkin is the Secretary/Treasurer. Nan Robkin is also the Newsletter Editor, but that is not an elected position.
If you aren’t sure whether you (or the person you are nominating – who must accept ) meets the criteria, look for Susan’s email dated the evening of 9/23 or contact Susan – the form below will send email directly to her. Also look for Susan’s 2nd email with subject “New ByLaws,” which has an attachment of the proposed by-laws changes to put us in sync with National SinC’s bylaws.
