Marty Wingate announced a new book contract.
Marty Wingate’s A BODY ON THE DOORSTEP, the first book in the London Ladies Murder Club mystery series, pitched as inspired by the real Useful Women Agency that connected a network of gentlewomen Gal Fridays following the first World War, and introducing an amateur sleuth hired to arrange flowers for a lady in mourning but whose uncanny ability to decipher clues launches the agency’s most secretive service: private investigation, to Rhianna Louise at Bookouture, in a four-book deal, for publication in early 2024, by Christina Hogrebe at Jane Rotrosen Agency.
A panel of Puget Sound SinC members will talk about the spectrum of mystery subgenres at the Pacific Northwest Writers Conference in Renton, WA (September 23-25, 2022). Moderated by Alice K. Boatwright, the panel will include Curt Colbert, Glen Erik Hamilton, Jeanne Matthews, and Marty Wingate.
