November 2020 Meeting Recap: MURDER AT THE MANOR – Members Tell Tales

Murder at the Manor

Based on writing prompts from Agatha Christie novels, members wrote and presented 250 word stories. For example:

  • I was standing at the window… looking idly on the street below...
  • Mrs. Oliver looked at herself in the glass...

One story included references to six of Christie’s novels. Some stories were loosely connected to the theme. Some were funny; some spine-tingling. But all were great fun.

Several members read a page from unpublished or recently published books, stopping just when listeners wanted to hear more.

We also discussed potential programs for 2021 and will send out a survey to collect ideas.
