650 Main Street in Edmonds, WA (parking: some at library, more on the street)

The newly renovated Edmonds Library offers a wide variety of cozy settings for writers at work — from big chairs with a view of the mountains and sound to quiet tables and corners perfect for solitude and concentrated work. Join us in this ideal setting for a mini-writing retreat.
Two writing periods (10:15-12:15 and 1:30-3:30):
- Find a spot in the library to write
- Join the group for lunch at a local restaurant or eat on your own
- Closing circle with refreshments and discussion in the library meeting room

Saturday, September 13, 3 PM: The Four Stages of a Heist: Criminal Characters, Perfect Plans, Epic Twists and Daring Escapes, with Sarah J. Mendonca
From gathering an excellent crew of criminals, plotting out the plan, creating tension with an unexpected twist, and escaping with the goods. We’ll go through the four phases of a heist, and by the end of the talk you’ll have everything you need to pull off the perfect caper.
