Cynthia Blair (Cynthia Baxter) ’s third book in the Lickety Splits Ice Cream Shoppe mystery series, HARD LICKS, will be released by Kensington in hardcover on Nov 26th

Jeffrey D. Briggs will be reading from OUT OF A COLD DARK SEA at the Richmond Beach Library (Thu, Nov 7, 3 pm) and Paper Boat Bookseller (Fri, Nov 8, 6 pm). 

Curt Colbert will read from his new book, ALL ALONG THE WATCHTOWER, at Third Place Books, Lake Forest Park on Sun, Nov 10, 6 pm.

M.L. Erdahl attended the Pacific Northwest Writers Conference, where he participated in the booksigning event with his first book WINTER TAKES ALL (A Seattle Wilderness mystery, book 1). 

Robert Herold’s first book, THE EIDOLA PROJECT, will be released by Wild Rose Press on Nov 18th. It is available for pre-order now! 

Susan McCormick will read from her first book, THE FOG LADIES, at Third Place Books, Seward Park, on Sun, Nov 10, 7 pm.

Laurie Rockenbeck will be at GeekGirlCon 2019 in Seattle serving on a panel about “The Curious Case of Women and True Crime.” 

Charlotte Stuart will be “Getting Serious about Humor” in a short presentation on the types of humor in mysteries, then read from her own lighthearted PI mystery, SURVIVAL CAN BE DEADLY. Join her at Third Place Books, Lake Forest Park, Sat, Nov 16 at 6 pm. 

Ingrid Thoft will speak on two panels at Bouchercon in Dallas (Oct 31-Nov 3): “Interesting Ways to Kill People” and “The Thrill Continues.” 

Marty Wingate will be on a panel titled “The Body in the Library” at Bouchercon on Fri, Nov 1. Following the panel, she will be signing copies of her new book, THE BODIES IN THE LIBRARY, which was recently reviewed by the UK publication, Mystery People.  

James W. Ziskin will be on two panels at Bouchercon: one featuring the nominees for the Anthony Awards’ Best Paperback Original (his book A STONE’S THROW is up for the award) and another on “Stop the Presses.”
