Mary Daheim in Conversation with Candace Robb – Recap

The celebration book launch for Mary Daheim‘s 68th book, A CASE OF BIER, drew a capacity crowd to Third Place Books Den in Lake Forest Park on April 11th. Candace Robb and Mary’s discussion about writing was peppered with hilarious stories that make it clear how Seattle’s cozy queen has kept her readers coming back for many years.

A CASE OF BIER is the 31st Bed & Breakfast mystery. In this series, Mary alternates the settings between the B&B in Seattle and other locations – in this case, the Canadian Rockies.

She is also the author of Alpine series, set in the Cascades mountains. This series began with THE ALPINE ADVOCATE and continued to THE ALPINE ZEN. Then In 2017, she started the alphabet again with ALPHA ALPINE!

In addition to these two series, Mary wrote 7 historical romances before turning to mysteries – and Candace Robb noted that her passion for research is as great as her sense of humor. She has also been included in three mystery anthologies.

Book #69 has already been completed by the indefatigable New York Times and USA Today bestselling author! BITTER ALPINE is available for pre-order now and will be released on October 15th.

Thanks to Third Place Books for partnering with Puget Sound SinC on this unique event.
