Susan Schreyer, chapter co-president, will discuss “Setting: More Than Just a Pretty Face.” She will look into how a setting can be crafted to work for your story and take a little pressure off your characters. In some ways, the setting can itself be a character in the story. The way the author describes locations makes a difference in how the reader responds.
Susan’s presentations on aspects of writing are always interesting and useful.
